Velvet Drive Transmissions Adds New Marine Products
Liberty, S.C. - Velvet Drive Transmissions, a leading manufacturer of marine transmissions, recently announced three new products: Electric Shift, Trolling Valve and Wakeboard Ski transmission and a new 3.00:1 gear ratio for its standard aluminum transmissions product line.
According to Rick Black, Velvet Drive Sales Manager, the Electric Shift transmission features Fly by Wire technology with "no cables to adjust, break or bind, total engagement and proven solenoid reliability." In addition, the Electric Shift has a neutral safety switch.
The new Trolling Valve transmission offers infinitely variable trolling speeds and complete control in 'No Wake Zones.' Black adds, "The Trolling Valve package includes a control and safety temperature sensor, is easy to install and requires no valve body replacement."
"We are excited with the release of the Velvet Drive Wakeboard transmission," Black continues, "because its the only one available. This product is a top performer with no power loss during tight turns." The Wakeboard transmission comes factory complete and requires no field modifications for installation. In addition, because the adapter is mounted and tested means there will be no leaking of gear lubricants.
Velvet Drive products are sold to Original Equipment Manufacturers and are also available through a worldwide network of Authorized Marine Distributors.
